Tech Lead/Analyst-6684

Our Green Bay client has an immediate need for a Tech Lead with 5 – 10 years’ experience in IT, that has extensive knowledge in:

• Business analysis and designing IT solutions.
• Application development (see Development Requirements).
• A person that can work independently, with minimal guidance, and can take a task(s) from start to finish.

 

The individual will need to understand that the work will be focused on enhancements, and not project related work.

 

Business Analyst Skills:

• Analysis Skills –
  • Able to analyze current situation(s).
  • Understand required business needs for any proposed change.
  • Develop and present alternative solutions to the business and IT group.
• Documentation Skills –
  • Document detailed business requirements.
  • Build effective technical specification documents, that developers can work from effectively.
• System Testing and Business Acceptance Testing Skills –
  • Create detailed system test plans.
  • Assist business in creating detailed business acceptance test plans.
  • See that ALL testing is completed successfully, obtaining business approvals prior to any implementation.
• Communication Skills –
  • Able to communicate –
    • With business partners on their level.
    • Effectively with the IT management staff.
    • Effectively with in-house Technical leads and Developers.
• Development Skills –
  • See Development Requirements.
• Responsible to develop detailed Implementation plans and present them to KBX’s internal IT governance group.
• Understand that they must adhere to development standards per the KBX Infrastructure team’s guidelines.

 

Development Requirements:

1. SQL Server:
   1. Familiar with SQL Server objects, including:
      1. Databases
      2. Tables
      3. Procedures
      4. Functions
      5. SSIS (Not required)
      6. SSAS (Not required)
      7. SSRS (Not required)
   2. General .Net or Windows Service Development:
      1. Familiar with the developing in the following:
         1. C#
         2. VB.net (Not required, but would help with legacy development)
         3. Structured class development (objects with constructors)
         4. Windows Services (Not required)
         5. Entity Framework 6.0 or above w\LINQ syntax
   3. Website .Net Development:
      1. Familiar with developing in the following:
         1. Websites
         2. ASP.net MVC
         3. ASP.net Forms (Not required for new development, but would help with legacy development)
         4. Javascript \ CSS \ HTML
         5. Bootstrap, Razor syntax, jQuery (Not required, but would help)
         6. Angular (Not required, but would help)
   4. Web Service \ API Development
      1. Familiar with developing in the following:
         1. Web Services or APIs
         2. REST and SOAP protocols
         3. XML and JSON formats
         4. WCF
   5. Bonus Experience (Not required)
      1. EDI
      2. Business Intelligence \ Data Warehouse work
      3. Rand McNally \ PC Miler
      4. Google\Bing development tools\APIs
